My birth was rough, much more so than I could have ever expected. Jessy got me through every second of it. She remained calm, positive and focused while I pushed through. I had my husband and little boy with me through the whole experience which wouldn't have happened at the hospital right now due to COVID. I was able to do my dream labor experience. Even though I didn't end up birthing in the tub it was such a perfect part of my birth journey. I love natural births and Jessy is so deeply passionate about helping moms have a beautiful birth, the way they want it. I felt completely taken care of and am forever grateful.

I’m a certified birth doula so my review comes with a little bit of a different perspective having attended 200 births in various birth settings including hospitals, birth centers, and home births. I was so very fortunate to be able to attend the birth both as doula and as grandmother. Words cannot describe how amazing Jessy was during my daughter-in-law’s 36 hour labor. The baby was not in the greatest position for birth making it an extra long and challenging experience. Jessy was so wonderful at suggesting various position changes and exercises while perfectly monitoring mom and baby to make sure they were beautifully safe for the duration of labor. The birth team truly believes in a woman’s ability to give birth and they constantly spoke words of belief and confidence to my daughter-in-law and never once made her feel like she wouldn’t be able to birth her baby in spite of the challenges. Jessy exuded nothing but joy and peace and showed such passion for what she does. Had this birth taken place in a hospital there is no doubt my daughter-in-law would have ended up with a c-section. However, due to the high level of skill and experience combined with a load of patience my first grandson entered the world in a beautiful peaceful setting surrounded by smiles and cheers. Thank you so much Jessy. You are the best.

"First time mamma and we knew we wanted a midwife and a homebirth. When we met with Jessy the first time we just knew she was the midwife for us. She answered all of our questions (and we had a lot) with confidence, facts, studies and with pros and cons not opinions. Right off we could tell she knew what she was talking about and is a very precise and intelligent person! All throughout she was very professional, flexible, and so so sweet and caring! We felt so safe and taken care of the whole pregnancy, birth and postpartum! The labor and birth of our son was a long one and Jessy knew what to do every step of the way. I had a cervical lip and she knew exactly what to do and positions to put me in to resolve it, and she knew all the things to do to help me to continue to progress well. She was so patient and on top of it the whole labor and let me take the time I needed to move around and push ect. It was a Wonderful, safe and powerful homebirth! Shortly after the birth when Jessy was checking his vitals our son wasn’t getting the oxygen levels he needed because of fluid and meconium in his lungs. She did what she could to see if he could resolve it on his own but after that wasn’t working she said it was time to go to the hospital. It was the most calm, collective and safe transfer. She went with us to the hospital and stayed until we got everything figured out with his care. She helped us to feel comfort and peace in a time of unsureity and was a huge supporter the whole time. Our baby is happy and healthy and just needed extra help getting cleared out. Jessy knew what to do every step of the way and we felt so safe! We couldn’t have done it without her! If you are thinking about midwifery care just DO IT!! She is a wonderful woman, midwife and spirit!! We are so grateful to have had her every step of the way!! "
